IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Bookstore Is Temporarily Closed
On March 13, 2020, the Camarillo City Council voted to close the Camarillo Library, the Friends Bookstore, and Giant Steps Café (we all occupy the same City-owned building) effective Saturday, March 14. The closure is due to the COVID-19 corona virus. We will remain closed to the public until the health crisis passes or until the City Council decides otherwise.

The impact on Friends tours is not fully known at this time. You will be notified of any cancellations.

We are unable to accept book donations until we reopen. Any books left at the Bookstore will regretfully be recycled.

The Blind Date with a Book drawing is postponed until two weeks after we reopen.
